In our Malisaravandh Primary School, children from Class 3 to 8 were tested on a subject of independent writing. Issues such as lack of writing skills, lack of understanding of how to write, linguistic errors, and lack of continuity of thoughts were noticed. To address this, the school conducted a seminar on language readiness through ‘mind mapping’ by Vijayakumar Chowdhury, providing valuable insights.
After some time, all teachers in all classes guided the children to prepare essays on different topics using ‘mind mapping.’ Gradually, according to the children’s level, very beautiful results were achieved. Errors improved, and children solved difficult subjects easily.
