English is a very important language for business, but many other languages are spoken by billions of people. If we look at the world today, these are the top languages that connect people across different countries.
1. Mandarin Chinese:
The Number One Mandarin is the most spoken language in the world if we count only native speakers. More than 110 crore (1.1 billion) people speak it! Most speakers are in China, Taiwan, and Singapore. It uses beautiful symbols instead of letters, and it is the main language for global trade.
2. Hindi:
India’s PrideHindi is the third most spoken language globally, with over 60 crore (600 million) total speakers. In India, it helps people from different states talk to each other. Because of our music, yoga, and movies, people in many other countries are also starting to learn Hindi.

5. Modern Standard Arabic:
The Ancient VoiceArabic is spoken by more than 27 crore (270 million) people. It is the main language in the Middle East and North Africa. It is a very ancient and respected language used in science, history, and religion.
While English is like a bridge, these languages are like the beautiful homes we live in. We should be proud of our Indian languages like Bengali, Marathi, and Gujarati, which are also among the top spoken languages in the world!
